Structure Description

1. The filter element is a foldable cylindrical microporous membrane filter element, with a shell diameter of 2.7 feet (69mm). The length of the filter element can be divided into four types: 10, 20, 30, and 40 feet (250, 500, 750, and 1000mm). The sealing method with the filter shell can be divided into two types: plug-in type (also divided into 222 seats, 226 seats) and flat nozzle type.

a. The plug-in filter element includes 222 and 226 seats, which are the international standard numbers for the interface between the filter element and the filter insert plate. The 222 seat is an "O" shaped socket, and the 226 seat has a pair of lugs on the "O" shaped interface, which can be inserted into the groove on the filter housing insert plate during installation to fix the upper end of the filter.

b. The upper and lower ends of the flat nozzle filter element are flat, and the connection between the filter element and the filter housing socket plate is fixed with a flat sealing ring.

2. Filter

The microporous membrane cartridge filter consists of a microporous membrane filter element, a stainless steel casing, and necessary stainless steel pipes and valves.

The lower part of the filter has a socket plate for the cartridge, which has a socket for the cartridge. According to the different flow rates handled by users, filters can be single core with 3 cores, 5 cores, or even tens of filter elements. At the same time, for the convenience of loading and unloading the filter element, the shell is divided into upper and lower parts, which are connected with quick installation bolts.

MF - is the code name for "microporous membrane filter"; A - is the length code of the filter element; B - Set the code for the number of filter elements inside the filter.

For example, when the model is MF20-3, it means that the length of the filter element is 20 inches, and the filter is equipped with three filter elements.

Example: Specification: 0.2um, 3T/h or 3m3 indicates an hourly liquid flow rate of 3 tons, or a filtered air flow rate of i3 cubic meters per minute.

Membrane material: PP represents polypropylene material (Preface to membrane material code) Operating pressure: ≤ 0.3mpa indicates that the working pressure cannot exceed 3 kilograms of pressure.

Preparation before installation

a. Cleaning of filter element

① Newly purchased filter cartridges must be disinfected and sterilized with disinfectant or steam before installation. Generally, pre filters do not need to be disinfected, and disinfection is mainly used for 0.4-0.45um filter cartridges.

When using disinfection and sterilization, a certain concentration of disinfectant should be prepared according to the product instructions. For example, when using Wanjiakang disinfectant, a concentration of 100-150ppm disinfectant can be used. Then, the filter element should be immersed in the disinfectant for 1-2 hours, and then rinsed with clean water until there is no residual disinfectant.

When steam is used, saturated steam with a pressure of 0.1-0.15mpa can generally be used for sterilization for 20-30 minutes. However, it should be noted that the steam valve should be slowly opened to avoid sudden steam intrusion and damage to the filter element.

When purchasing filter cartridges, please note that if frequent steam sterilization is required, it must be explained to the supplier in order to provide steam resistant filter cartridges.

② For newly purchased acetate fiber filter cartridges, only disinfectant should be used for sterilization, and steam should not be used for sterilization.

b. Cleaning of Stainless Steel Filter Housing

① The newly purchased stainless steel filter casing, as well as the pipes and valves before and after, must first be thoroughly cleaned with a cleaning agent to remove any oil stains that may have adhered during processing, as well as any sand, dust, and dirt that may have adhered during transportation;

② Soak it in the prepared disinfectant and disinfect it;

③ Then rinse with clean water until there is no residual disinfectant.

Preparation before use

a. After thorough cleaning and sterilization of the filter element and shell, the installation of the filter can proceed. Firstly, apply clean filtered liquid as lubricant on the Lixin "O" ring, and then carefully and vertically insert the filter element into the socket plate at the bottom of the filter. If the pump uses a 226 interface, the interface ears should be inserted into the chassis. After the filter "O" is replaced into the socket, rotate it clockwise to make the ears snap into the empty slot of the chassis. After grasping the business, tighten the bolt seal.

b. After the filter system is flushed, the entire filter system must also be thoroughly rinsed with clean water.

c. After the entire filtration system is washed clean, the filtration operation can begin.

Operation during production

a. Filter operation

Open the exhaust valve and slowly open the feed valve to introduce the filtrate to be filtered. When there is material flowing out of the exhaust valve, immediately close the exhaust valves and slowly open the discharge valve.

In the early stage of filtration, due to the clean filter element and fast filtration speed, the internal pressure of the filter is generally maintained at 0.05-0.1 MPa. Over time, in order to maintain an appropriate filtration rate, the pressure inside the filter can be gradually increased, but the maximum pressure inside the filter cannot exceed the maximum operating pressure allowed by different material filter elements.

When the internal pressure is already high and the filtering speed slows down significantly, the filtering operation should be stopped and the filter should be cleaned.

b. Backwashing of filter element

① For mineral water and fine filtration in water treatment, cleaning can be used for backwashing, and then the terminal filtered clean water can be backwashed before being put into production.

② For the filtration of fermentation and sugar containing liquids such as beer and beverages, it is recommended to first use pre treated clean and oil-free compressed air for backflushing, then rinse with clean water, and then rinse with terminal filtered clean water for backflushing before putting it into production.

③ The filter element has been adapted for a long time. After backwashing using the above method, if the filtering speed is still not ideal, the filter element can be removed and immersed in a concentration of 2-4% NaOH solution for 4-8 hours. Then, rinse with clean water filtered at the terminal until there is no residue. Rinse with clean water until there is no residual cleaning agent, and then proceed with installation.

④ After installation, the filtration system should be thoroughly disinfected with steam, with a steam pressure not exceeding 0.15mpa and a disinfection time of 20 minutes. After disinfection, all fastening bolts in the system should be thoroughly checked for looseness and re tightened.

⑤ Before using steam for disinfection, the condensed water in the steam pipeline must be drained first, and then the steam valve must be slowly opened for disinfection.

⑥ The gas to be filtered must be dehumidified first to reduce its relative humidity to ≤ 70%; If filtering compressed air, the compressed air should also be degreased before filtering. During operation, all inlet and outlet gas valves should be slowly opened.

⑦ When the CO2 vapor is removed by the fermentation tank during filtration, the filter should be installed on the fermentation operation platform to prevent the fermentation liquid from flowing back.

⑧ After operating the filter for a period of time, the pressure will gradually increase. When the pressure difference reaches 0.015mpa, the operation should be stopped and the filter element should be affected; Cleaning methods can include clean compressed air back blowing and steam disinfection cleaning. After cleaning, install and continue with the operation.
