A rotary evaporator is a device used in chemical laboratories for the efficient and gentle removal of solvents from samples by evaporation. The process of rotary evaporation is most often used to separate solvents with low boiling points, such a n-hexane or ethyl acetate, from compounds which are solid at room temperature and pressure.

DOVMXtech Rotary evaporators come with a modular heating bath, vertical glassware, and digital temperature/rotation control. Its optimized bath volume allows for rapid heat-up times. The condenser unit has specially designed glass tubes that utilize surface area extremely efficiently. Thats why our DOVMXtech evaporators consistently deliver reliable and reproducible process results that are usually reserved for more costly systems. Another important aspect of the DOVMXtech is the safety features, which includes dry-run protection, water bath over-temperature shut-off protection, and fuse protection.
It is suitable for experiment of evaporation, distillation or separation of chemicals. It usually works with vacuum pump and chiller as a whole system to meet the production and experimental requirements.

Operation
(1) Please set the water bath temperature as required.
(2) Please turn on the power switch after confirming that the speed adjustment knob is set to the minimum position.
(3) Please close the feeding pipe cock.
Apply vacuum grease when using.
(4) Please add the sample according to (a) or (b) below.
(A) During continuous feeding
① First, connect the continuous feeding port with the sample container with Teflon feeding pipe.
② Slowly lower the elevator and adjust the rotating bottle into the water bath.
③ Rotate the speed adjustment knob and set it at the required number of revolutions.
④ Start the pressure reducing device and start vacuumizing to reduce the pressure inside the evaporator.
⑤ Rotate the feeding cock, align it with the continuous feeding port, and add the sample.
(B) Discontinuous feeding
① Remove the rotating bottle and load the test material directly.
② After starting the pressure reducing device, adjust the speed knob to set the speed at the required speed.
③ Gently lower the elevator and place the rotating bottle in the water bath.
When the capacity of the rotating bottle is more than 1L, please operate in the sequence of ②, ③ and ④ of A.
2. Stop operation
(1) Stop the rotation of the rotating bottle, slowly lift the elevator, and take the rotating bottle out of the water bath.
(2) Open the feeding pipe cock to relieve the internal pressure.
(3) Turn off the pressure relief device.
(4) If you do not continue to add the test sample, please turn off the cooling water circulation device and water bath together.
after concentration, the water bath or rotating bottle will not cool immediately, but it is still high temperature. Please be careful of scalding.
(5) For the disassembly of the rotating bottle, please remove the bottle ejector and slowly remove the rotating bottle.
(6) When disassembling the recycling bottle, please hold the bottle by hand before removing the ball mill clip.
When the glass rotating shaft and the rotating bottle are stuck together and cannot be separated, please pull out the rotating bottle and the glass rotating shaft at the same time, and then heat the rotating bottle slightly before removing it.
Warranty: 12 months from date of Commercial Invoice.
Machine parts are warranted for 12 months due to manufacturer defects, but glassware and mis-operation are not included in warranty.
During warranty, if any parts need to be replaced due to quality problem or manufacturer defect, we offer it for FREE, buyer only needs to pay for freight.
If the warranty is expired, all spare parts are supplied at cost price for 5 years.

Each equipment will undergo many strict inspections before delivery and transportation to ensure that it is intact. All electrical parts are warranted for one year (except for vacuum pumps and glassware). We have provided double copies for easily damaged items. Please rest assured that the whole machine will be maintained for life. if something breaks, replacement parts will be shipped next day by air.
