Molecular Distillation is a special liquid-liquid separation technology, which is carried out under high vacuum environment. It uses the differences in the free path of molecular motion of different substances to achieve separation.

Molecular distillation technique has been successfully utilized in many areas, such as foods, flavors, cannabis/hemp, garlic oil, cod liver oil and chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Molecular distillation is a common technology for fish oil purification, which is used to separate unsaturated fat acids from fish oil. This technology is based on the different boiling points of molecules to achieve separation and purification. In the molecular distillation process of fish oil purification, the fish oil is first heated to evaporate the fatty acids in it. Then, the steam is cooled to condense different types of fatty acids. These fatty acids can be further separated and purified to obtain purer products. Using molecular distillation to purify fish oil can yield high-quality fish oil products, which can be used for the preparation of drugs, health products, and cosmetics. In addition, this technology can also be used to treat other animal and vegetable fats to extract the required compounds.
